Eid ul Adha Bank Holidays 2026 Pakistan – Meezan, HBL, UBL & All Banks Update
The State Bank of Pakistan has officially announced Eid ul Adha 2026 bank holidays across the country. All commercial banks including Meezan Bank, Habib Bank Limited, United Bank Limited and other financial institutions will remain closed during the Eid holidays.
According to the latest SBP circular, banks in Pakistan will remain closed from May 26 to May 28, 2026. The holidays will be observed on the occasion of Eid ul Adha 2026 across the country.
The announcement applies to all commercial banks, microfinance banks, DFIs, and banking offices operating in Pakistan. Customers are advised to complete important banking work before the Eid holidays begin.
Online banking services, ATMs, mobile banking apps, and digital transactions are expected to remain active during Eid holidays. However, physical bank branches will stay closed for public dealing.
Many Pakistanis are searching for updates about Meezan Bank Eid holidays 2026, HBL bank timing, UBL branch closure dates, and SBP Eid notification. The latest update confirms that all major banks will follow the same Eid holiday schedule announced by SBP.
Customers using banking apps for fund transfers, bill payments, Raast service, or ATM withdrawals may continue using digital services during Eid ul Adha holidays. Banks are also expected to refill ATMs before Eid shopping days.
The State Bank of Pakistan released the official Eid ul Adha public holidays notification through its Banking Policy and Regulations Department. The circular has already been shared with all banks and financial institutions nationwide.
