Ministry of Maritime Affairs Jobs 2025 Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for Maritime Affairs Karachi Careers 2025, candidates must hold a valid Certificate of Competency relevant to their applied position. For engineering roles, a First Class Engineer Certificate (Combined or Motor) is required, while nautical roles demand a Certificate as Master of a Foreign Going Ship. Preference will be given to candidates with higher certifications such as Extra First Class Engineer or Extra Master, or those holding a B.Sc. in Maritime Technology.
In addition to qualifications, candidates must possess at least 2 to 3 years of professional experience in relevant roles—such as Chief Engineer, Nautical or Ship Surveyor, or Examiner of Marine Engineers or Masters and Mates. The maximum age limit is 62 years, as per the MP Scale Policy 2020, and will be calculated as of the application’s closing date.
