Pakistan Agricultural Research Council (PARC), operating under the Ministry of National Food Security & Research, has announced prestigious senior-level career opportunities for highly qualified and experienced agricultural scientists and research professionals. Applications are invited for the positions of Member (Natural Resources) and Member (Animal Sciences) on a management pay scale basis.

According to the advertisement, candidates must possess a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized university along with an outstanding academic and professional record. Applicants should have at least 20 years of proven experience in research and development organizations, higher education institutions, or public and private sector organizations.

The council is seeking visionary leaders capable of strategic planning, implementation, and management of multidisciplinary agricultural research programs. Candidates must also have a minimum of 15 research publications in HEC-recognized journals or books and demonstrated experience in managing teams of scientists and researchers.

Selected candidates will be appointed initially for a period of three years, which may be extended annually for up to two additional years based on satisfactory performance. The maximum age limit for applicants is 62 years as per the Management Position Scales Policy.
