The latest HEC Law-GAT 2026 is open to candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) or an equivalent qualification from an HEC and Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) recognized local or foreign university. The examination consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on the approved Law-GAT curriculum. Candidates must obtain at least 50 out of 100 marks to qualify for the examination.

Interested applicants can complete their online registration through the official Education Testing Council (ETC) portal before 19 July 2026. The Law-GAT test will be conducted on 09 August 2026 in major cities across Pakistan. Roll number slips will be available online before the examination date, and candidates must bring the original CNIC or passport along with the printed roll number slip to the test center.
